Firstly I'm not a fan of modifying, I like the stock look for the majority of cars so it does annoy me when people sell cars with their mods left on.
Being Turbo less makes the Type R a realistic choice for me and lets just say I'm not a fan on pink on black.
Also Mad Men is alright, I assume it gets better since it is on season 7.

of course! It's actually a goal of mine to find a modded 300zx, rx7, supra, etc and restore it back to stock

this is where plastidip would be perfect. Mod your car in crazy batshit colors, enjoy it , peel it off before you sell it AND it's been protecting whatever it was applied to.

Definitely. It's one of the reasons why I haven't sold my bone-stock, low-mileage VW Scirocco project. I don't think that I'll have the time to work on it in the near future, but it's in such good original condition, and I'd hate to see it join the vast majority of modded Sciroccos (not that I mind them – but stock ones are few and far between these days).
It's not quite the same, but my purchase of my 850R was motivated by a similar desire. It had weird engine-electrics issues, and the seller said that he'd probably scrap it if it didn't find a buyer. Result: another project car, and now it runs. Yay!

Yes! There's a '67 Dodge Dart about 5 miles from where I live. I pass it everyday going to work. It just...,mocks me.....
It's toward the bottom of the page. And it's been on the lot for a while.
